PANAS!! Liow Tiong Lai rasuah Hospital Tung Shin RM2 Juta??

Jui Meng slams Liow for cooking up stories to get off Tung Shin hook
In hot soup after being caught trying to cover up for the police, Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai denied he paid RM2 million to the Tung Shin hospital board to get them to refute allegations that tear gas and acid-laced water had been fired into the facility's compound.
Liow, who is also the MCA deputy president, even accused 'someone' of trying to pressure him into steeping down. But he was immediately rebuked for making up new "conspiracies" in order to get himself and his boss, MCA president Chua Soi Lek, off the hook.
"Rather than cook up more conspiracies to save face, they should just admit the truth and that is, Liow and Chua Soi Lek and the police tried to hide the truth from the people," PKR vice president Chua Jui Meng told Malaysia Chronicle.
Speculation has been swirling for the past few days and finally found its way into the Chinese press this morning, with many online reports accusing Liow and the hospital board for putting politics first rather the health of the people.
This afternoon, Liow lambasted the reports, which he said were based on a 2010 event whereby he had allocated the amount to the Tung Shin hospital.
"This is essentially nonsense, which is clearly intended to humiliate me and Tung Shin Hospital," Liow said in a statement.
"The truth is I had gone to Tung Shn Hospital on Jan 12, 2010 to allocate RM2 million to them and also to Chinese Maternity Hospital."
Face up to the fact and apologize
But perhaps, Liow should blame himself the most because he totally ignored the wealth of available evidence in the form of the hundreds of eyewitnesses' accounts and video clips on You Tube.
The visuals showed clearly the police had indeed discharged toxic material into the Tung Shin compound, which is against international convention.
At a press conference held earlier this week, Liow even brushed off reporters who offered to show him the pictures and tapes.
It was only after he was labelled a 'liar' by critics and Chua Soi Lek also slammed for trying to blame "camera angle" for the pictures, that they realized the amount of anger that they had stirred.
Late last night, Liow announced he would set up a probe to be headed by the Ministry of Health secretary-general. But this was again seen as a ploy to appease public anger using the simplest but least sincere method.
"At the end of the day, what can the MOH committee do? Censure the police, censure the Cabinet, censure Prime Minister Najib? Do you see the MOH and Liow doing that, so why waste time?" said Jui Meng.
"The honourable thing for Liow and the police to do is to graciously admit the truth. There is no way for them to get past the avaliable evidence. They should straightaway apologise to Tung Shin, the staff and patients and to all Malaysians for their lies.
